Jacques Babin

Ph. D.

Sexologist

    Jacques has a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology and is Board certified by the American Board of Sexology.  He is bilingual. Much of his studies at the doctoral level have focused on sexuality and he has completed several hours of supervised clinical practice.  The consultation services offered to clients are aimed at helping them enjoy a more intimate and fulfilling sexual life. Such services are currently offered from his office in the Human Development Counselling Centre in Sudbury.

    
    Jacques is also a law professor, specializing in criminal, evidence and family law. In addition, he teaches courses dealing with sexuality.

     
     Over the past several years, Jacques has also offered a number of workshops to various groups throughout North America, including sexologists, social workers, mental health professionals, educators, counsellors, and lawyers. Jacques has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada for the past 20 years. He is also a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists and is a diplomate of the American Board of Sexology.
